Senior QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

About the role

A fast-growing digital platform focused on mobile-first engagement, digital menus and transactional workflows for hospitality and retail is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer through its partner Truelogic. The role supports testing across web applications, transactional systems and data-driven workflows in a lean, Agile/Kanban team, balancing manual and automated testing and working closely with Engineering and Data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide QA support across the full application lifecycle in a fast-paced deployment environment.
• Execute functional, UI, regression and end-to-end testing on web apps and new features.
• Validate transactional workflows, payment integrations, e-commerce flows and POS integrations, including data synchronization.
• Work with Data Engineering teams on data validation, backend verification and ETL-related testing.
• Develop, maintain and improve automated test suites with Selenium and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Perform API testing, database validation and troubleshooting of data-centric workflows.
• Take part in release validation and help improve QA processes, automation coverage and deployment reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software QA and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and JavaScript or TypeScript for web automation.
• Functional, regression, UI and end-to-end testing on modern web apps.
• Testing of e-commerce platforms, payment workflows and third-party integrations; payment gateway experience is a plus.
• API testing, backend validation and database verification experience.
• Agile or Kanban collaboration with engineering and data teams.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
