Mid-Level DevOps Engineer - Global Strategy Consultancy (LATAM)

About the role

A global insights and strategy consultancy, which works with entertainment, technology, lifestyle, sports and gaming clients, is hiring a DevOps Engineer through Truelogic. The role sits in the core infrastructure and full-stack platform engineering team and focuses on building, maintaining and improving the cloud platform behind the company's data and software products. It is fully remote, with availability to work standard US-timezone business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure using Terraform across multiple environments and projects.
• Develop, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines, mainly with GitHub Actions and OIDC-based keyless cloud authentication.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and pipeline issues, find root causes and document solutions.
• Support DevOps incidents, operational requests and production releases as responsibilities grow after onboarding.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, handoff notes and design documents.
• Review infrastructure changes proposed by others and recommend practical, evidence-based improvements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and full-stack platform engineers and use logs, tests and metrics to investigate issues.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for planning, code reviews, troubleshooting and documentation.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC; experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider, with GCP strongly preferred.
• Good written English and enough spoken English to work with a US-based team; availability for US-timezone hours.

• Networking basics (VPCs, DNS, firewalls), IAM, secrets management
• Scripting with Python or Bash
• Preferred: GCP, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud DNS, Cloud Monitoring and Logging, Secret Manager, Redis, Snowflake, dbt, and generative AI product experience
