Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React + Modern Backend)

About the role

Truelogic, a nearshore staff augmentation provider with more than 600 tech professionals in Latin America, is recruiting a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for a client that is a global insights and strategy firm working with entertainment, technology, lifestyle, sports and gaming clients. The project develops, enhances and maintains the client's product portfolio, including modern web applications, backend services, data-intensive systems and AI-enabled workflows. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, enhance and maintain features across the product portfolio
• Build and support modern frontend applications with React, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Develop and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs and data-driven applications
• Work with relational databases and SQL
• Use AI tools in daily development and review AI-generated code for quality, security and performance
• Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data and QA teams
• Write automated unit, integration and API tests, take part in code reviews, CI/CD and production readiness
• Contribute to scalable data visualization and keep software secure, observable and maintainable

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience developing production software with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or another modern backend language
• 1+ year of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, and 1+ year with React
• 3+ years of SQL and relational database work
• Practical experience using AI tools and evaluating AI-generated output for quality, security and data governance risks
• Nice to have: Java with Spring/Spring Boot, C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF or Oracle; Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins; CI/CD and production deployment; GCP, Snowflake or BigQuery; legacy modernization and data-intensive applications; CS degree or equivalent experience
