Senior Frontend Engineer - Media Production

About the role

Truelogic, a nearshore staff augmentation provider with more than 600 tech professionals in Latin America, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for a client, an independent global news organization founded in 1846. You will help build a new headless front end for one of the most visited news sites, with the goal of launching the first page early next year. The work involves shaping the architecture, setting front-end standards and using AI-assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the new headless front-end architecture.
• Deliver the initial launch page within the early-next-year schedule.
• Establish front-end standards, component patterns, testing frameworks and code review processes.
• Maintain ownership of performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO and accessibility.
• Connect user interfaces with headless CMS platforms and internal APIs.
• Mentor team members and work closely with the Core Web engineering manager.
• Implement and refine AI-driven agentic workflows across the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5+ years in senior front-end engineering.
• Experience building on headless CMS and API-driven content.
• Focus on Core Web Vitals, technical SEO and web accessibility.
• Proven record establishing automated testing practices.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants.
• Fluent English for collaboration with a US team.
