Pharmacovigilance Intern

About the role

The Pharmacovigilance Intern will support drug safety activities for MSD in Panama, working under the guidance of a manager or designated colleague. The role involves assisting with case management, documentation, and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with execution of local drug safety processes and collaboration with internal and external parties.
• Support day‑to‑day safety case management, including intake, tracking, translation, acknowledgments and follow‑up of adverse event reports.
• File, store and archive safety‑related and regulatory documentation in electronic and paper formats.
• Report adverse events, product quality complaints and other safety information in line with MSD Patient Safety Policy.
• Complete required training on schedule and assist with scientific literature review when needed.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Pharmacy degree and in the final semesters of study.
• Intermediate‑advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) and strong command of the local language.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management abilities.
