Business Development Officer (Investor Relations / Fund Distribution)

About the role

A growing investment platform is looking for an experienced Investor Relations and Business Development professional to support the expansion of its fund distribution efforts. The role focuses on raising capital, building and managing investor relationships and promoting investment strategies to a global audience. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and investment teams to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital raising efforts across targeted investor segments
• Develop and manage relationships with institutional and professional investors
• Promote the firm's funds and investment strategies
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets
• Maintain and expand a strong investor network
• Collaborate with internal teams to support fundraising initiatives

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fund marketing, investor relations or capital raising (Hedge Fund, Asset Manager, Investment Bank Capital Introduction or Placement Agent)
• Established network of potential investors
• Strong commercial mindset, high level of autonomy and entrepreneurial, proactive approach
• Fluency in multiple languages is a strong advantage
