Senior Project Schedule/Controls Specialist

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Schedule/Controls Specialist to join its Panama City team, supporting infrastructure projects with cost and schedule management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost administration and reporting systems, including estimates, budgets, schedules, man‑hour tracking, and earned‑value reports.
• Assess project cost performance, maintain trend and change logs, and ensure change‑management procedures are followed.
• Prepare regular cost and schedule updates, liaise with engineering, accounting, and subcontractors, and coordinate WBS development.
• Produce engineering earned‑value reports and provide input for monthly/bi‑weekly reporting, explaining variances.
• Collect and analyze cost data for benchmarking, scoping studies, and execution planning.

Required profile

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience in project schedule and controls.
• Demonstrated experience on heavy civil or construction projects, preferably 15+ years.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (resource‑loaded scheduling).
• Microsoft Project.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Earned‑value management and cost reporting.
