Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) - Entertainment

About the role

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for an entertainment‑focused business unit. The role bridges FP&A and Accounting, ensuring accurate P&L performance and revenue recognition within a shared‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly FP&A close, aligning actuals with budget and forecast.
• Analyze P&L performance, identify variance drivers and trends.
• Lead revenue recognition compliance (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and coordinate with Accounting.
• Perform Work‑in‑Progress reconciliations and ensure proper revenue‑cost matching.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and capital/WIP projections.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or hybrid accounting/finance roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
• Proven track record conducting WIP reconciliations and project accounting analysis.
• Advanced expertise in financial analysis, variance analysis, and core financial statements.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (financial modeling, complex reconciliations, data analysis).
• Financial modeling (Excel‑based).
• Revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
