Senior Accountant

About the role

StaffRight is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage full‑cycle accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close activities. The role supports cross‑functional teams, ensures accurate records, and adheres to accounting standards while working remotely for US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes in QuickBooks Online, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and support month‑end, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, improve processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full‑cycle accounting experience, preferably with US‑based companies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Availability to work US time zones (graveyard shift) and start within two weeks.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (required).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with time‑tracking tools such as Time Doctor.
