About the role

We are expanding our back‑office in Panama City and need a Tax Accountant to prepare and file US and Canadian tax returns, maintain client books and support year‑end closings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file US individual and business tax returns
• Prepare and file Canadian tax returns (training provided if needed)
• Maintain client books and reconcile accounts in Odoo and QuickBooks Online
• Support year‑end closings and financial statements for US and Canadian clients
• Collaborate with our team across Canada, the US, Brazil, and India

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in US tax preparation
• Solid accounting background
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines during tax season
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Spanish is an asset

• Intuit ProConnect
• Odoo
• QuickBooks Online
• Canadian taxation (T1, T2, GST/HST)
