Tax Accountant – US & Canada (On-site, Panama City)

About the role

We are a cross‑border accounting, tax, and advisory firm serving clients in Canada and the United States. As an Odoo Silver Partner, we combine tax expertise with modern technology to help businesses and individuals stay compliant and grow with confidence. We are expanding our back‑office operations in Panama City and are looking for a Tax Accountant to join the team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file US individual and business tax returns
• Prepare and file Canadian tax returns (training provided if needed)
• Maintain client books and reconcile accounts in Odoo and QuickBooks Online
• Support year‑end closings and financial statements for our US and Canadian clients
• Collaborate with our team across Canada, the US, Brazil, and India

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in US tax preparation
• Solid accounting background
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines during tax season
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Spanish is an asset
