About the role
We are seeking an analytical and collaborative professional to join the Strategic Resource Management Team within the Technology and Transformation Department of the IDB Group. The consultant will support the rollout of an IT Financial Management tool and drive financial and resource planning, cost optimisation and operational excellence across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring product‑level OKRs and ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
- Collaborate with product teams to harmonise operating methodologies, prioritisation decisions and budget allocation for RUN, GROW and TRANSFORM initiatives.
- Support governance processes for prioritisation and funding, maintaining consistency with approved budget frameworks.
- Prepare executive dashboards and reports on budget execution, investment performance and cost transparency.
- Provide data‑driven analysis to senior management for investment prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Support implementation and adoption of the IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool to improve cost transparency and funding decisions.
- Assist in preparation, allocation and monitoring of capital and administrative budgets, including investment proposals.
- Track financial resource usage against strategic priorities and measure value generated by investments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in financial analysis, cost management, strategic planning or related technology‑focused roles.
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken); French or Portuguese a plus.
- Citizenship of an IDB Group member country and eligibility to work without sponsorship.
