Regional Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

The Regional Senior Tax Analyst will lead tax planning, compliance and reporting across the Puma Group’s operations, ensuring consistent and efficient tax management in line with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Review tax forecasts and budgets, supporting planning activities and business restructuring, M&A and investment projects.
• Implement tax strategies to optimise direct and indirect tax positions.
• Manage and review tax accounting and reporting processes for income tax, deferred tax, capital gains, surcharges, minimum tax, withholding tax, tax receivables and payables.
• Provide training and guidance to regional finance teams to improve tax accounting quality.
• Own local tax compliance trackers, standardise documentation and develop control processes.
• Conduct tax health checks, GAP analyses and support risk‑management strategies.
• Assist with tax audits, litigation, dispute resolution and develop audit defence files.
• Analyse tax impact of regulatory reforms and devise action plans.
• Support transfer pricing compliance, documentation and impact analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years experience in corporate tax advisory and accounting.
• Knowledge of oil & energy business tax environments; experience with Central & Latin America tax regimes is a plus.
• Strong technical understanding of GAAP, IFRS and US Federal/State tax laws.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work with non‑tax stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; comfortable in a multinational setting.
