Regional Procurement Manager - Grains

About the role

Nestlé Global Procurement is looking for a Regional Procurement Manager for Grains, based in Panama City, Panama, on a hybrid full-time basis. The role contributes to building the category strategy and implementing it regionally and globally using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies, and may include projects such as compliance, sustainability and e-auction. The position is temporary, lasting 9 months from February to October 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the category sourcing strategy using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders to align business requirements with long-term category plans, within budgets and operations planning.
• Perform supply and demand risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to find improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and lead commercial relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring contract performance.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in commodities or other direct categories.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering results.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across complex organisations.
• Expertise in supplier relationship management, responsible sourcing and risk management, with a structured way of working.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
