Regional Procurement Manager - Ocean/Freight Forwarding

About the role

Nestlé Global Procurement is looking for a Regional Procurement Manager for the Ocean Freight and Other Logistics category, based in Panama City on a hybrid, full-time permanent basis. The role defines and implements the category strategy at regional level (AMS) using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies, while supporting value creation, change management, innovation and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze supplier market, category and supply risks and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to find improvement opportunities.
• Handle escalations for the zones/markets together with the team.
• Negotiate contracts that deliver the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with strategy.
• Work with stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes into local budgets and price planning.
• Lead contract SLA reviews with suppliers and other partners with Supplier Relationship Management experts.
• Identify and implement logistics optimization opportunities at markets.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Sourcing experience across several spend categories, ideally including the specific category.
• Experience in negotiations, supplier relationship management, risk management and responsible sourcing.
• Leadership and project management skills, including supply chain projects.
• Understanding of national and international procurement regulations; logistics services experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; other languages are an asset.
