Junior Recruitment Consultant (Sales & Business Development)

About the role

Gatesource HR is hiring a Graduate / Junior Recruitment Consultant in Panama City for a fast-paced, commercial role. You will be trained to manage recruitment processes end-to-end while developing strong sales and business development skills in a performance-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Candidate sourcing and recruitment: identify and attract talent using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and direct outreach; interview and qualify candidates; build and manage a candidate pipeline across vacancies.
• Guide candidates through interviews and hiring stages, support job offers, salary discussions and onboarding, and keep accurate notes and activity tracking in the ATS/CRM.
• Provide market insights such as salary trends, candidate availability and competitor activity to support recruitment strategy.
• Sales and business development: identify target companies and decision-makers, research new markets and industries, and help with outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email and phone.
• Build relationships with hiring managers and HR stakeholders, schedule and support client meetings with senior consultants, and prepare candidate profiles, shortlists and client-facing updates.
• Promote Gatesource HR services professionally and contribute to weekly sales targets (calls, outreach, interviews, submissions).
• Support the growth of existing accounts through consistent follow-up and strong delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-5 years of work experience.
• Strong written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Motivated by goals and targets, resilient, proactive and comfortable working at pace.

Required skills

• Confident speaking on the phone and in video calls.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Interest in recruitment, sales or business development.
