Information Technology Security Engineer

About the role

The Information Technology Security Engineer supports daily security operations, compliance, and improvement of controls across a multinational organisation. Working under a Senior IT Security Engineer, the role provides hands‑on assistance for security incidents, vulnerability remediation, and security‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, triage events, and coordinate investigations, containment and remediation.
• Provide operational support for endpoint protection, identity security, vulnerability management and security monitoring platforms.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments, risk tracking, SOX ITGC activities and audit coordination.
• Support identity and access management processes, privileged access reviews and cloud security configuration reviews.
• Help senior staff with security projects, strategy execution, incident response planning and vendor coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security, security operations or related technical discipline.
• Experience in enterprise environments, audit support and working with third‑party providers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple operational and project tasks.

• Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.
• Endpoint protection, vulnerability management and security monitoring solutions.
• Network and cloud security fundamentals.
• Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure knowledge.
• PowerShell or other scripting experience.
