Financial & Accounting Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Financial & Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team in Betcha. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge, solid reconciliation experience, and the ability to work accurately with financial transactions, account reviews, month‑end activities, and management reporting. The person will work closely with Finance leadership and support key accounting and financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic reconciliation activities, identifying discrepancies and following up until resolution.
• Review financial transactions and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support accounting activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reviews.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare account and balance analysis and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support financial reporting and management information.
• Contribute to the review and improvement of financial controls and procedures.
• Assist with ad hoc financial and accounting analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, reconciliation, or a similar role.
• Advanced/fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken. English is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, accounting processes, and financial analysis.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
