Finance & Accounting Intern - Latin America Program

About the role

P&G is recruiting a Finance & Accounting intern through its Latin America Internship Program, based in Panama City. The internship lasts at least 6 months, with flexible working hours of 20-40 per week, and offers a competitive salary and benefits program. Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects and work closely with colleagues from finance and other functions such as PS, warehouse operations and engineering.
• Provide financial leadership in operations by leading specific projects and identifying efficiencies in operations and resources.
• Develop leadership and financial management skills while improving collaboration.

Required profile

• Active undergraduate student in Latin America with 6-24 months left to graduate.
• Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Willingness to move to Panama if not already there, and to commit to projects lasting at least 6 months.
• Written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Strong teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort working with people at all levels.

Required skills

• Financial analysis and budgeting, with understanding of financial planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and clear presentation of data.
• Nice to have: familiarity with financial software, basic project management, and knowledge of the consumer goods industry.
