Commodities Support Specialist

About the role

Nestlé Global Procurement is looking for a Commodities Support Specialist in Panama. The role supports global commodity contract management by linking physical supply needs with price risk management, working closely with price risk teams, suppliers, strategic buyers and markets. The position is permanent, full-time and hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Implement futures distribution to align with physical requirements and strengthen hedge effectiveness.
• Allocate volumes and suppliers to markets to secure reliable supply from global parent contracts.
• Prepare price fixations with suppliers to support accurate, timely and transparent commodity management.
• Link hedge results to physical supply contracts to improve visibility and support decision making.
• Manage the contract lifecycle proactively to enable smooth execution across markets, suppliers and buyers.
• Coordinate shipment follow-up to maintain continuity of supply and reduce operational risk.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of procurement, finance, supply chain or commodity contract management.
• Analytical thinking to connect financial instruments, physical supply needs and business requirements.
• Attention to detail and initiative to anticipate risks and keep priorities moving.
• Confident collaboration with stakeholders in a global, fast-moving environment.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
