Experienced Tax Preparers Wanted

About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers to join its team for the upcoming tax season. You will work directly with clients to prepare accurate federal and state tax returns while maximizing their tax savings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate federal and state individual tax returns using proprietary software.
• Identify applicable deductions and credits to maximize client refunds.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the tax preparation process.

Required profile

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience (two or more preferred).
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN); assistance available for application or renewal.
