About the role

Fundación Avina is seeking a legal professional to provide remote consultancy support for contract management across its Latin‑American projects. The consultant will ensure financing and cooperation agreements are drafted, reviewed, and closed with legal rigor and risk awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end contract processes, from initial review and due‑diligence to amendments and final closure.
• Prepare, validate, and archive contractual documents, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
• Handle special legal tasks such as notarizations, registrations, apostilles, powers of attorney, and other required legal instruments.
• Maintain contract files using the organization’s CRM and electronic signature platforms.

Required profile

• Law degree with proven experience in contract drafting and legal documentation.
• Strong analytical ability to identify legal risks and ensure compliance.
• Excellent written legal communication and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and collaborate with multicultural, geographically distributed teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for document management.
• Experience using electronic signature tools.
