Remote Pre-Litigation Case Manager Team Lead

About the role

The Pre‑Litigation Manager owns the phase of a case between signup and either settlement or the decision to file suit. You will lead a team of case managers, keep treatment and records moving, oversee demand quality, and ensure no file sits still while carrying a small personal caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pre‑litigation case management team, assign workload and balance capacity.
• Set and enforce standards for client contact, file hygiene and movement, and conduct regular file audits to identify stalled cases.
• Review demand packages for completeness and persuasive strength before they are sent.
• Own the pre‑litigation aging report, drive down cycle times and escalate files that should move to litigation.
• Maintain client satisfaction during the pre‑litigation phase and step into difficult conversations when needed.
• Document and improve workflows, report on caseload volume, aging, demand turnaround and settlement results, and coordinate handoffs to litigation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of personal injury pre‑litigation case management experience.
• Prior experience supervising, training or leading a team.
• Strong command of medical records, treatment coordination, demand preparation and bodily injury negotiation.
• Working knowledge of Louisiana prescription periods and insurance coverage issues.
• Excellent written communication, especially demand writing.
