Commodities Support Specialist

About the role

As a Commodity Support Specialist in Nestlé Global Procurement, you will support global commodity contract management by linking physical supply needs with price risk management activities. You will work across hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia, collaborating with price risk teams, suppliers, strategic buyers, and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement futures distribution to align with physical requirements and strengthen hedge effectiveness.
• Allocate volumes and suppliers to markets to secure reliable supply from global parent contracts.
• Prepare price fixations with suppliers to ensure accurate, timely, and transparent commodity management.
• Link hedge results to physical supply contracts to improve visibility and support decision making.
• Proactively manage the contract lifecycle for smooth execution across markets, suppliers, and buyers.
• Coordinate shipment follow‑up to maintain continuity of supply and reduce operational risk.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of procurement, finance, supply chain, or commodity contract management.
• Analytical thinking to connect financial instruments, physical supply needs, and business requirements.
• Attention to detail and initiative to anticipate risks, solve issues, and keep priorities moving forward.
• Ability to collaborate confidently in a global, fast‑moving, complex environment.
• Fluent communication in English; additional languages are an asset.

Required skills

• Experience with commodity contracts and price risk management.
• Understanding of futures, hedging, and supply chain allocation processes.
