Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team at Insignia. In this role you will ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports, supporting our day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and record vendor invoices to verify billing accuracy.
• Process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Identify and escalate invoice or expense discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of approved vendors and internal policies to prevent unauthorized payments.
• Support the General Ledger system with accurate accounts payable entries.

Required profile

• Panamanian citizenship or a valid work permit for Panama.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger and accounts payable processes.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
