Senior Bilingual Communications Contractor (Remote)

About the role

GreenRoots is seeking a Senior Communications Contractor to work remotely on a part‑time basis (20 hours per week). You will create bilingual digital content, design graphics, edit videos, and support social‑media scheduling for an environmental‑justice nonprofit.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality bilingual visual materials such as flyers, newsletters, pamphlets, annual reports, and graphic assets for community campaigns.
• Produce and edit videos tailored for social media and community outreach.
• Perform voice‑over work in both English and Spanish.
• Support the creation, design, and scheduling of posts across the organization’s digital platforms.
• Use monday.com to manage requests and integrate with internal workflows.
• Schedule content using Hootsuite.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in graphic design, video editing, and digital communication.
• Full bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience working with non‑profits or related sectors.
• English proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
• Proactive and friendly personality.

What we offer

• Weekly payment based on hours worked, in USD or local currency.
• Full‑time remote opportunity with a fixed schedule: Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑13:00 ET (20 hours/week).
