Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the execution of large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring that all works are completed in line with drawings, technical specifications and contractual obligations. This role requires full‑time on‑site presence throughout the construction phase, including the As‑Built documentation and project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall execution of construction projects, adhering to approved schedules and budgets.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor physical and financial progress of works.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer systems, water distribution networks and stormwater drainage systems.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces (civil, hydraulic, sanitary, electromechanical, etc.).
• Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring technical and contractual compliance.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, health & safety and quality regulations.
• Monitor costs, productivity and budget deviations, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Lead the site technical team, including engineers, supervisors and production personnel.
• Collaborate with Quality, H&S, Environmental and Planning departments to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee preparation, review and submission of As‑Built drawings and technical documentation.
• Represent the project before clients, authorities and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Sanitary or Hydraulic Engineering or a related field.
• Valid professional engineering license issued by the Technical Board of Engineering and Architecture (JTIA).
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing investment projects with a construction focus.
• At least 5 years as a Construction Manager, Project Manager or similar on sanitary sewer, water supply or stormwater projects.
• Proven experience in infrastructure project management.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contractual documents.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in West Panama Province.
