Solid Tumors Sales Representative – Oncology, Panama

About the role

AbbVie is hiring a Solid Tumors Sales Representative in Panama. The role owns the commercial performance of the assigned Oncology and Solid Tumor portfolio and territory, delivering agreed sales, demand, market-share and execution objectives. Activities must be ethical, accurate and in line with applicable laws, industry codes, pharmacovigilance requirements and AbbVie policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute territory and account plans based on customer needs, patient pathways, market dynamics, institutional priorities, access conditions and business intelligence.
• Engage oncologists and other healthcare professionals with approved promotional materials, messages and channels.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, institutions and treatment centers while respecting compliance standards.
• Identify opportunities and barriers along the patient and treatment journey and turn them into compliant account actions with the In-Field Team.
• Analyze territory performance, customer segmentation, call activity, competition and market data to prioritize resources.
• Run approved brand campaigns, customer programs, meetings and field initiatives within budget and local requirements.
• Work with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Regulatory, Finance, Supply and Compliance.

Required profile

• University degree; Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated pharmaceutical industry experience, including field-based commercial, market access, sales or account management.
• Demonstrated experience in Oncology, specifically Solid Tumors.
• Experience with specialty, innovative or high-cost medicines and complex institutional accounts strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the Panamanian healthcare environment, oncology treatment centers and access dynamics strongly preferred.
• Spanish fluency is required; working knowledge of English preferred.
• Valid driving authorization and availability for regular field travel.
