About the role

Control Risks is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex software solutions within a collaborative agile team. You will contribute both individually and by mentoring junior members to enhance team productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement new software programs and REST APIs.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring performance, optimization, and high availability.
  • Analyze user requirements, produce design documentation, and conduct root‑cause analysis of system issues.
  • Collaborate with team members on code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment processes.

Required profile

  • Strong knowledge of C#.NET 4, React, Node.js, MVC 4, Entity Framework, LINQ, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with authentication protocols such as OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, and OAuth 2.0.
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL Server development, T‑SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, and cloud‑based development practices.
