Senior GRC Engineer (Bilingual Spanish-English)

About the role

Workstreet is seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented Senior GRC Engineer who will act as a trusted compliance advisor for high‑complexity client accounts. The role requires bilingual communication in English and Spanish and involves leading end‑to‑end compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Own primary client relationship management, providing executive updates and milestone tracking.
• Lead bilingual client engagements via phone, email, and video calls in English and Spanish.
• Design and implement multi‑framework compliance architectures (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST CSF).
• Mentor and direct analyst pods, delivering feedback and fostering high performance.
• Author and maintain compliance documentation, policies, SOPs, and audit evidence.
• Manage complex account escalations and ensure client retention.
• Collaborate on risk and gap remediation with internal and client technical teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal playbooks and delivery frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning high‑complexity accounts and leading client meetings.
• Professional fluency in written and verbal English and Spanish.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing compliance analyst teams.
• Hands‑on experience executing cybersecurity compliance programs across SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
