Mechanical / Plumbing BIM Specialist

About the role

ENG is seeking a Mechanical / Plumbing BIM Specialist to deliver high‑quality MEP models for commercial, industrial, healthcare and residential projects. The specialist will work closely with project teams to detect clashes, ensure constructability and meet client‑specified LOD standards.

Key responsibilities

• Model HVAC and plumbing systems in Revit, including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment and plumbing fixtures.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks (or Revizto) and generate accurate clash reports.
• Maintain model quality through QA/QC checks, adhering to LOD 400 requirements and US constructability standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve conflicts during the design and coordination phases.
• Incorporate BIM add‑ins such as Evolve, SysQue or Fabrication Parts to enhance model detail.
• Support on‑site or field activities when required, providing detailed models with real‑world fittings and connections.

Required profile

• Fluent English – spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (architects with extensive MEP experience may be considered).
• Proven experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for US‑based projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection and QA/QC processes.
