Managed IT Security Engineer

About the role

Join Tigo as a Managed IT Security Engineer and ensure the continuity of digital services for B2B customers. You will work closely with regional teams, provide technical support, and contribute to the growth of our security and cloud product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to guarantee continuity of digital service products for B2B clients.
• Coordinate with regional teams to scale digital services and address LAN network issues.
• Handle B2B client requests and incidents, perform L2 escalation, and maintain effective communication with end‑users.
• Troubleshoot core cybersecurity and cloud technologies within the product catalog.
• Administer WAN, SD‑WAN and SD‑LAN equipment for client networks.
• Participate in internal training, knowledge sharing, and cross‑team collaboration.
• Work rotating 24x7 shifts and be on‑call for digital services.
• Support operational improvements through meetings with sales engineering and regional architects.

Required profile

• Relevant certifications demonstrating a high level of technical expertise.
• Degree in electronic, systems or telecommunications engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
