Senior Back-end Engineer (C#/.NET)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior .NET Engineer to design, build and deliver high‑quality, scalable SaaS applications for a leading cloud‑based HR platform serving the public sector. You will tackle complex architectural challenges, create modular backend systems and own the end‑to‑end quality of your code within an AI‑assisted development workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Decompose complex business problems into clean, modular solutions using DDD and CQRS patterns.
• Build, maintain and optimise RESTful APIs and micro‑services with C#.NET Core, Web API and Entity Framework.
• Design and tune SQL Server databases, write stored procedures, and improve query performance.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration and performance tests and leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross‑functional squads to translate requirements into customer‑centric features.

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise or SaaS development experience with C#.NET Core, Web API and SQL Server.
• Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, multithreading, async programming and clean architecture.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and experience working in distributed Agile teams.
