Language Arts Teacher

About the role

United School of Panama is seeking a passionate Language Arts Teacher for middle and high school students, currently through Grade 9. The role involves inspiring students to engage with literature and develop strong communication skills in an inclusive international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging language arts lessons for middle and high school students.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking abilities.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain clear communication with families.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Humanities or related fields.
• Relevant teaching certification.
• Experience teaching at the middle or high school level; international or bilingual school experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is an asset.
