Jr. NOC Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Junior NOC Analyst to join IDT’s 24x7 Global Network Operations team. You will monitor production networks, applications and services, and resolve alerts following standard procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor all production networks, applications and services.
• Respond to and resolve alerts/alarms according to SOPs.
• Track incidents in a ticketing system and ensure proper escalation.
• Collaborate with site technicians, third‑party vendors and other IT teams to achieve timely resolution.
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Zabbix, Jira and Slack.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in NOC or similar monitoring role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher) and ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience participating in high‑priority incident bridge calls and writing post‑mortem reports.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, AWS or Azure Fundamentals.

Required skills

• Monitoring and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts (BGP, MPLS, OSPF).
• Proficiency with ticketing systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Zabbix, Jira and Slack.
