Network Monitoring Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Network Monitoring Analyst with solid hands‑on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The role is based on‑site in Panama City and involves working in a Cisco‑centric environment, though other vendor technologies are also used.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support day‑to‑day network operations and service availability.
• Investigate, validate, and escalate network‑related alerts and incidents.
• Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for OT infrastructure incidents.
• Document, route, and follow incidents through to resolution.
• Contribute proactively to service improvements, problem management, and monitoring optimisation.
• Support project implementations and operational readiness activities.
• Collaborate closely with network, server, and local support teams to minimise service interruptions.

Required profile

• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Customer‑focused, service‑minded approach.
• Ability to take ownership and communicate proactively.
• Willingness to work across time zones and in shift‑based schedules.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams.
• Eagerness to learn complementary server and client technologies.
• Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management processes.

• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, VLANs, NAT, routing, switching.
• LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, ISP connectivity monitoring.
• Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers.
• Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, Wireshark.
• Incident management and technical escalation within ServiceNow.
• Shift‑based monitoring and support environment.
• Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, server hardware.
• Operating system health, services, event logs, storage, backups.
• Basic PowerShell troubleshooting.
