About the role
Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama, a luxury hotel in the historic UNESCO World Heritage district of Panama, is looking for an IT Coordinator. The role covers the daily IT operations of the hotel, including setting up computers, troubleshooting and managing system access.
Key responsibilities
- Review the daily IT operations of the hotel.
- Set up and install computer systems.
- Identify software and hardware problems.
- Investigate connectivity issues.
- Grant access and rights to systems after validation by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an IT coordinator or in a comparable position.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
- Organised, able to plan their work and work autonomously on daily tasks.
- Clear communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
Required skills
- Preferred: training in Opera PMS, POS system, Windows Server, MS Office and networks.
- Competence with a wide range of computer programs.
