About the role

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Insurance Customer Service Specialist to support daily customer service and administrative operations for an independent insurance agency. The role involves assisting customers with billing inquiries, payments, policy documentation, renewals, claims intake, and general insurance service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and emails professionally and provide support for general insurance service questions.
• Assist with billing inquiries, payments, policy documents, renewals, and claims intake.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, follow up on pending requests, and coordinate information between customers, carriers, and internal team members.
• Maintain accurate customer and policy records, document interactions, and ensure timely follow‑up on cancellations, underwriting requests, and missing information.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and dependable follow‑through.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and customer requests simultaneously.
