About the role

Dell Technologies is looking for a Senior Server Support Engineer to join its Services team in Panama. You will provide world‑class technical assistance for PowerEdge XE servers, handling complex incidents and ensuring high‑quality resolutions for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end resolution of complex technical incidents received via web, phone, chat, and email.
• Document case details and keep customers informed of progress.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot hardware, firmware, storage, and software issues.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, standards, and strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of technical support experience with hardware, software, and/or servers.
• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
• Proven ability to work effectively under high pressure.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Dell PowerEdge and PowerEdge XE server architecture, hardware diagnostics, firmware, and storage.
• Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID).
• Virtualization concepts and platforms.
• Fundamental networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, corporate connectivity).
• Familiarity with GPU accelerators, AI workloads, and HPC environments (desired).
• Relevant certifications such as Dell Technologies, Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE), VMware, CompTIA Server+ (desired).
