Accounting Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The role combines bookkeeping, revenue and expense reconciliation, and inventory valuation to support reliable financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices, payments, and customer transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Work closely with external accountants and auditors.
• Reconcile revenue, operating expenses, and inventory value to ensure accurate gross margin reporting.
• Analyze inventory movements and investigate discrepancies between accounting records, inventory systems, and operational data.
• Identify accounting inconsistencies and propose process improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and inventory accounting.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Shopify).
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
