Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js/Svelte/React)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join a small, highly collaborative team building a modern legal‑tech application. You will work closely with legal professionals and client stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy complex features across both the frontend and backend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex features across frontend and backend systems.
• Build scalable, maintainable applications using TypeScript on client and server sides.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and server‑side applications with Node.js and modern TypeScript frameworks.
• Create modern, responsive user interfaces using Svelte/SvelteKit or comparable technologies.
• Design and maintain relational database schemas, migrations, and queries with a focus on performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in full‑stack development with strong expertise in TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with modern frontend frameworks (Svelte/SvelteKit, React) and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with AWS serverless services is strongly preferred.
• Forward‑thinking approach to AI‑assisted software development, including practical use of AI coding tools.
• Comfortable in a client‑facing role with regular demos and involvement in architectural decisions.
