About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior External Audit Assistant to join its Assurance line of service in Panama City. You will work on financial statement audits, providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulations, while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement.
• Prepare audit reports and express audit opinions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business context and risk environment.
• Apply PwC’s professional and technical standards, including independence requirements.
• Interpret data to generate insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Auditing.
• CPA qualification (Idoneidad).
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and teamwork orientation.
• 3+ years of audit experience; internal audit knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced).
• PowerBI (intermediate or advanced).
