BPO Manager

About the role

PWC Panama is seeking a BPO Manager to lead its Accounting Outsourcing Services department. The role combines tax and accounting expertise with strong people leadership to deliver high‑quality services to both local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting Outsourcing Services department, overseeing service delivery and quality.
• Supervise compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements for client engagements.
• Ensure accurate preparation and review of financial statements and tax provisions.
• Develop, coach, and manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve performance targets.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across processes.
• Partner with senior leadership to manage project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery.

• Proven experience in managing accounting or tax outsourcing teams.
• Strong leadership style with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire staff.
• Excellent communication skills for handling client and stakeholder conversations.
• Integrity and commitment to professional and technical standards.
• Ability to address conflicts, make decisions, and escalate issues when necessary.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
