About the role

The Commercial Assistant will support the purchasing and supplier management functions for a leading retail chain, ensuring product availability, accurate pricing, and optimal margins across stores.

Key responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders for suppliers and monitor their execution.
• Control and follow up on new product introductions.
• Update prices to keep the product catalog current.
• Ensure category margins are maintained.
• Manage commercial dynamics and negotiations with suppliers.
• Review and activate perishable product portfolios for existing stores and new openings.
• Track supplier delivery fill rates and propose corrective actions.
• Respond promptly to store requests to accelerate operations and sales.
• Communicate weekly barcode and price changes to stores.
• Archive all documentation related to supplier processes.
• Follow up on collections, claims, and accounts payable with suppliers.
• Cover vacations of other assistants as needed.

Required profile

• Experience working with purchase orders and supplier coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Negotiation and purchase logistics knowledge.
• Ability to handle calculations, statistics, and filing systems.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• SAP for procurement processes.
