Warehouse Technician

About the role

Tropic Star Lodge seeks a detail‑oriented Warehouse Technician to manage the receipt, storage, tracking, and dispatch of goods supporting daily lodge operations in a remote Panamanian setting.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized warehouse, assign storage locations, and optimise space utilisation.
• Pick, verify, package and prepare items for internal distribution or external shipment.
• Conduct physical stock counts, reconcile inventory records and report shortages or surpluses.
• Inspect returned items, document condition and coordinate replacements or warranty processes.
• Ensure clean, safe work areas and follow occupational health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, storage or inventory control.
• Ability to handle, load, unload and organise goods physically.
• Spanish proficiency (native or advanced); technical English is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets, data tables and inventory records.
