Utility Project Manager

About the role

The Utility Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale ground‑mounted photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. Acting as the primary customer interface, you will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for utility‑scale PV and energy storage installations, from kickoff to final handover.
• Develop and control detailed project plans, monitor key milestones, and proactively mitigate schedule risks.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and contract requirements through quality inspections, documentation archiving, and customer acceptance processes.
• Identify, assess, and track project risks; manage changes using standardized procedures to limit impact on schedule, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, After‑sales, contractors, and customers.
• Maintain daily communication with customers, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1 level) and able to use Chinese as a working language; Spanish is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience delivering large‑scale utility‑grade ground‑mounted PV projects; BESS experience is advantageous.
• Proven track record of independently delivering projects of at least 200 MW PV or 100 MWh+ storage.
• Familiarity with the EPC delivery model.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid international driver’s license and willingness to travel >60 % of the time within Latin America.
