Solid Tumors Sales Representative

About the role

The Oncology Sales Representative will drive commercial performance for AbbVie’s Solid Tumor oncology portfolio in Panama, delivering sales, market‑share and execution objectives while ensuring ethical and compliant interactions with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute robust territory and account plans based on customer needs, patient pathways and market dynamics.
• Engage oncologists and other healthcare professionals using approved promotional materials and messages.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, institutions and decision‑makers while maintaining compliance.
• Identify opportunities and barriers across the patient journey and coordinate actions with the In‑Field Team.
• Analyze territory performance, customer segmentation and competitive dynamics to prioritize resources.
• Execute brand campaigns, customer programs and field initiatives in line with strategy and budget.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and other functions to support integrated account execution.

Required profile

• University degree; preferably in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Demonstrated pharmaceutical industry experience with field‑based commercial, sales or account‑management responsibility.
• Specific experience in Oncology, especially Solid Tumors, and familiarity with high‑cost, specialty medicines.
• Strong knowledge of the Panamanian healthcare environment and oncology treatment centers.
• Fluency in Spanish (required) and working knowledge of English (preferred).
• Valid driving authorization and availability for regular field travel.
