Site EHS Engineer/Technician

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Site EHS Engineer/Technician to ensure a safe and healthy environment for personnel and contractors on construction sites. The role focuses on minimizing environmental impact, protecting assets, and reducing business interruption risks.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Site EHS Manager in risk assessments and implementation of control measures.
• Assist in preparing, implementing and maintaining emergency response plans.
• Coordinate EHS activities with contractors and internal teams.
• Provide advice to site personnel on injury prevention, fire safety, and environmental protection.
• Develop and maintain the Site EHS Management System in line with Alstom standards and ISO 14001/ISO 45001.
• Ensure compliance with legal EHS requirements and Alstom internal procedures.
• Promote EHS culture through training and communication.

Required profile

• Experience in environmental, health and safety management on industrial or construction sites.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop emergency plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management system.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 occupational health and safety system.
• Familiarity with Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and Transport Operational Performance in Environment (TOPE) tools.
