Senior Project Manager (Water Infrastructure)

About the role

GateSource HR is supporting an international engineering consultancy in finding a Senior Project Manager for a major water infrastructure project in Panama. The project involves complex civil works such as dams, hydraulic structures and tunnels. The successful candidate will lead project planning, design coordination, construction management, contract administration, and risk, schedule, cost, quality and stakeholder interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is also acceptable.
• Registered or licensed Professional Engineer, or an equivalent professional licence.
• PMP certification or an equivalent internationally recognised credential.
• At least 20 years of professional experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrable experience administering FIDIC contracts or equivalent international standard forms.
• Leadership of at least two comparable infrastructure projects, each worth US$100 million or more.
• Experience in dams, hydraulic structures, tunnels, water infrastructure or similar heavy civil works.
• Highly preferred: more than 30 years of experience, leadership of projects exceeding US$400 million each, responsibility for multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, schedules, budgets, risks and claims, and experience on international projects in multicultural environments.
• Professional English; Spanish is an advantage.
