Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Services is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to drive business development for its payments‑focused professional services. The role combines sales ownership, client relationship management, and project support to expand the Services portfolio across financial institutions, fintechs, and digital merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end sales cycles for Services, from prospecting to contract execution, targeting revenue growth.
• Develop and refine value propositions for new and existing Service capabilities to meet the needs of FI, fintech, and merchant executives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, including C‑suite executives.
• Collaborate with Mastercard Account teams to align sales efforts with strategic account plans.
• Partner with Client Services teams to deliver joint go‑to‑market initiatives and ensure high‑quality value delivery.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members, supporting project teams in problem‑solving, work‑plan structuring, and activity prioritisation.
• Create and deliver concise, persuasive presentations that articulate project outcomes and business impact.

Required profile

• Proven consultative sales management experience, preferably within financial services, fintech, or payments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to manage day‑to‑day client relationships.
• Comfort interacting with senior‑level stakeholders and C‑suite executives.
• Ability to work collaboratively across account, sales, and delivery teams.
